Dear Members, Board members of KiCA met with CQC to discuss 10 main points raised by you all. These subjects were the Provider Inspection Report, Timelines for their Inspection Reports, periods between Inspections, duplicate Inspections from Local Authorities & CCG's, provider's real concerns about poor funding, Inspections by appointment, the NMDS Register, CQC Inspections including an observer.
The CQC have agreed to provide their replies in writing, which we shall display on our Website once received. CQC made it quite clear they have real interests in the smaller provider as well as the Corporate companies and consider that if they didnt acknowledge our concerns about the real costs, then they are doing a disservice to the sector, so they are acting already as they believe that part of our Registration Fee entitles us to receive impartial benefit with the CQC making comments as an honest broker.
