The Care Workers' Charity has been really busy raising money for care workers in crisis and in need due to the coronavirus pandemic. The charity is there to support them and we are all working hard to ensure the funds keep coming in to help our caring and dedicated care workers. Where would we be without them!”The Care Workers’ Charity exists to create the support structures that people need whilst actively promoting the immense contribution that the UK’s care workers make to our society. The CWC vision is to create a UK where no care worker faces financial hardship alone.There are almost 2 million care workers in the UK, contributing to one of the largest workforces. They spend their careers assisting others, but when circumstances change, sometimes it is the care workers who need help.The Coronavirus Fund is an emergency grant programme specifically designed to help those carers in need due to the virus. We will receive a large number of applications for help in the coming weeks and require extra funds to help with the increased demand. Any help you can give will go a long way.
