Friday the 20th saw the very best in the Kent care sector come together to celebrate the Kent Care Awards at the Great Danes Hotel, Maidstone.
Now in its fourth year, the awards welcomed over 300 guests to a gala evening recognising caring excellence from front line workers in the care sector who work hard to improve the standard of care in the region.
This year over 200 nominations were received from companies across Kent with entries judged on dedication, commitment, innovation, career development, overall reputation, and examples of caring excellence.
Of the 90 finalists congratulations now goes to the 18 category winners listed below:
Ann Taylor, Chair of KICA says: “This is a really special event, not only is it the one night where carers can let their hair down, it’s also a night where they are applauded and recognised for their dedication and hard work supporting vulnerable individuals enjoy a quality of life they probably wouldn’t have without them. They deserve to be celebrated, social care isn’t an easy job, and these individuals put their heart and soul into it.”
The Annual Care Awards celebrate the work carried out by carers and care companies in Kent. The awards provide a chance to reward those people who have simply delivered something awesome whilst recognising the Kent care sector as a whole showing appreciation and recognising the good work everyone does day in day out, year after year. All winners of the awards will automatically be entered in the nominations for the Great British Care Awards South East section in Brighton in November.
