THE FUTURE IS BRIGHT FOR SOCIAL CARE IN KENT

The future is bright the future is innovation says the Kent Integrated Care Alliance (KiCA) as they prepare for their annual conference in May.The full-day conference on Wednesday the 9th of May will focus on how Kent providers can adopt best practice and continue to provide caring excellence throughout the county.A line up of influential speakers, including care company CEO’s, the director of adult social care and health at Kent County Council, and the Care Quality Commission (CQC), will address some of the key issues facing the social care sector and discuss topics such as discharge from hospital, wellbeing and activity leadership in care homes, technology in healthcare, integration and innovation, and the supportive role of the CQC.Adam Hutchison, vice chair Kent Integrated Care Alliance says: “As a sector we must look at changing business models and develop new strategies to improve the best way forward.
